Former Henderson teacher pleads guilty to sexual abuse
HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - A now former Henderson High School teacher accused of misconduct with a student has reached a plea deal.
Court documents show Rachel Clement’s charges were amended, and she pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual abuse and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

She’s set to be formally sentenced on January 4.
Records show the agreement will be for Clement to give up teaching for life, have no contact with the victim or Henderson County Schools, and be on the sex offender registry.
It shows she could get three years for each sexual abuse count and five years on the tampering charge.
The investigation into Clement began back in May. School officials say she was immediately removed from school. In June, they said her contract would not be renewed.
