Hundreds of cars inspected for hail damage in Owensboro, another event set next week
DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Daviess County Deputies say they inspected 287 hail damaged vehicles during it’s drive-thru site Wednesday.
They also posted on social media that Courthouse staff did 134 inspections for a total of 430 vehicle inspections.
They will be back at the site located at Kentucky Sound Stage on Frederica next Wednesday.
It will be open to drivers wanting their vehicles inspected from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Deputies say you must be in the car that needs inspection with glass already repaired and you must have the following:
- Driver’s License
- Vehicle Title
- Insurance Company Letter on Letterhead (not digitally)
DCSO says the letter must include “totaled due to hail damage” and the VIN number.
The sheriff’s office notes this is a cash or check only site, credit cads will not be accepted. The fee is $15.
