Volunteers needed for Owensboro park cleanup Saturday

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - City of Owensboro officials say the city is partnering with Daviess County Operations for the annual park cleanup.

According to a release, the event takes place at Yellow Creek Park Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Officials say their parks bring people together, and the event is a great opportunity to give back to the spaces the public enjoys.

They say whether you can lend a hand for an hour or stay for the entire event, every little bit makes a difference.
