Kortney joined the Valley News Live team as an Evening Anchor in Aug. 2022. The Colorado native first came to the Red River Valley in May 2019. She spent two years reporting and producing here at Valley News Live. In 2020, she was named a Breaking News Upper Midwest Emmy Nominee. She came back to Fargo because of her love for the community.
