Henderson students to tour manufacturers Thursday

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Henderson Economic Development officials say they are hosting Manufacturing Academy Tours for more than 100 Henderson County High School Career and Technical Education students on Thursday.

According to a press release, this year’s Manufacturing Academy tours will last from 8:30 a.m. to noon and conclude with a panel discussion at the Municipal Services Center from noon to 2 p.m.

Officials say the purpose of these tours is to bridge the gap between the classroom and local career opportunities for post-graduation in a fun and memorable way.
