Actor Hugh Jackman speaks at Ball State graduation

MUNCIE, Ind. (WFIE) - In Muncie, Ball State celebrated around 2,800 graduates Saturday.

Actor Hugh Jackman was among them. He received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree and was the keynote speaker.

Jackman has visited BSU several times. He’s reportedly dating an adjunct professor.

The Greatest Showman and X-Men star encouraged graduates to trust their instincts.

“Every time I’ve listened to my heart, that small voice inside that was and is still guiding me, then I have known I was on the right path,” said Jackman.

Ball State’s graduation on the quad is a tradition started 108 years ago.
