OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - It’s an annual tradition for one Tri-State family to go all out when it comes to Christmas lights.
The Lashbrook family decorates their house every single year, and this year is no different.
Jeff Lashbrook has been decorating with the passion of Clark Griswald for nearly 30 years at his Owensboro home.
Hundreds of cars drove by to take in all the holiday spirit the house has to offer.
Not only can a spectator enjoy all the scenes, but also donate to Wendell Foster.
Lashbrook says he started on the displays in October, but isn’t sure how many hours total it took.
“Well, the first years we just did bushes and a couple statues of toy soldiers and a snowman,” Lashbrook said. “Every year we added and added, it went from a medium display to one of the largest in the county.”
He says this all started as a boy decorating with his grandfather.
Lashbrook says he’ll probably start bringing all the decorations down on Sunday.
