Holiday World's new wooden roller coaster, which made its debut at the Santa Claus, Ind.-theme park in early May, is drawing national media attention. The coaster, dubbed "The Voyage" will be featured in coming days on ABC's Good Morning America, on a FOX network news program, on the Discovery Channel, and on the National Geographic Channel.

The coaster has earned the attention because of its design; Holiday World says the coaster sets the world record for the most "air-time" experienced by riders on a wooden coaster.

The Voyage is slated to be featured on Good Morning America on Friday morning during a segment on the nation's "biggest and baddest" new roller coasters. Chad Miller, one of the engineers of The Gravity Group, the firm that designed the Voyage, will be featured on Fox News Channel's "Fox Dayside" show on Friday at noon (CDT). The 1.2-mile long coaster will appear again on Monday at 7 p.m. (CDT) on the National Geographic Channel two-hour premiere of "SuperCoasters". The Discovery Channel will also take a look at The Voyage during their special "Building the Biggest: Coasters", however, the air-date is not yet known.

The current issue of Evansville Living magazine features The Voyage on its cover.
