EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The Old National Events Plaza was packed with people tonight. for 100 Men Who Cook.

The 100 chefs walked into the venue with style, ready to serve up the good stuff. Each chef had their own unique dish and style.

Jason Munoz was one of those chefs. His theme this year was "Beets by Jay".

"This year I wanted to do beets because I love beets and people don't like to try the and so we kind of made it a theme around that.  So we came up with this... a DJ," said Munoz.

The idea is for people to be enticed by what each table has to offer. So that they will come and try your food and leave a tip. That tip money and all other proceeds go straight to the Boys and Girls Club of Evansville.

Boys and Girls Club board member Jim Will said that this event is monumental for the organization.

"It will allow us to impact possibly many more young people in the area. Secondly, as many people as this touches, it will ad exposure to our club," said Will.

The chef who raises the most money for the Boys and Girls Club gets to take home the golden spatula.

From bankers to attorneys and doctors to educators. It is all in good fun and for a good cause.

"To see all of these guys cook and tell stories, you know it's like a locker room feeling back there.  It's a really good deal, we raise a lot of money.  It's a great night, I look forward to it every year," said Munoz.
