Man killed in crash involving semitruck with 15-year-old driver

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH/Gray News) - A man was killed in a crash involving a semitruck driven by a 15-year-old on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a semitruck hauling a trailer was traveling on County Road 430 when it hit a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe at an intersection around 7 p.m.
Both vehicles went into a ditch, but the Tahoe continued rolling and came to a rest on County Road 430.
The driver of the Tahoe, Maynard K. Unruh, 68, was taken to the hospital, where he died about two hours later.
The 15-year-old driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
