Alcoa and United Steelworkers Union strike up tentative agreement

WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - In Warrick County, there’s been a tentative agreement between Alcoa and United Steelworkers Union, Local 104.

President Chris Horn says the bargaining committee is meeting once again with Alcoa officials.

He tells us details of the agreement are expected in the next couple of days.

Despite that tentative agreement, a strike authorization vote is happening Friday for members.

They’ve had several meetings today. The last one is set for 6:30 p.m.
