Thousands of condoms donated to the Vanderburgh Co. Health Dept.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Vanderburgh County Health Department now has thousands of condoms to give out, all thanks to a national public health membership organization.

Health officials say they are one of the many programs fortunate enough to receive a donation through the National Coalition of STD Directors Condom Connect application.

Officials say the program aims to reduce stigma around prevention and normalize condom usage by donating more than a million condoms nationwide.

“Stop by VCHD or one of our many community condom drop locations for more info or to grab some condoms for you or someone you know!” says the health department.
