Ky. road crews treat icy conditions across multiple counties

KENTUCKY. (WFIE) - Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say snow and ice crews are out working to treat the roads.

According to a press release, crews are addressing reports of ice forming along roadways in several counties.

Drivers are asked to proceed with caution on Wednesday morning.

They say if you approach a snowplow, be aware that they will be moving slower than the normal flow of traffic.

Officials ask drivers to also keep in mind that in freezing conditions, bridges freeze faster than roadways.
