EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office needs your help getting warm coats into the hands of those in need.
The sheriff’s office is asking the community for donations of new and gently used coats to benefit YWCA Evansville.
Deputies say they are specifically looking for sizes ranging from baby to adult, with a focus on larger adult sizes.
“Every coat plays a vital role in keeping someone warm—let‘s come together to spread warmth and kindness this season!" said the sheriff’s office on Facebook.
You can drop off your donations at the Sheriff’s Operation Center at 3520 N Harlan Avenue on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
