LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KVVU/Gray News) - All flavors of a micro dosing candy have been recalled by the United States Food and Drug Administration after reports of almost two dozen hospitalizations.

The brand Diamond Shruumz come in forms of chocolate bars, infused cones and extreme gummies found in micro and mega doses.

The Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board said 39 illnesses have been reported from the candy so far, with 23 hospitalizations.

At least 20 states have reported cases, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee.

According to officials, those who became ill from the candy experienced symptoms of seizures, depression, agitation, abnormal heart rates, hyper or hypotension, nausea and vomiting.

The FDA said it does not know exactly which retailers are selling the brand, but that a variety of stores nationwide are selling them.

The FDA said consumers should not eat, sell or serve any flavor of the candy and should instead throw them away or return them to the company for a refund.

Officials also said retailers should stop selling the candy.

The FDA also advised parents and caregivers to discuss the recall with their children, as the brand may appeal to younger ages.
