Dick Clark’s Family Restaurant gains new owners

PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - The owners of Dick Clark’s Family Restaurant in Princeton announced Thursday will be their final day at the restaurant.

In a Facebook post, Jeff and Julie Clark announced that Asa and Megan Deffendall will be taking over as the new owners.

Dick Clark’s opened in January of 1947, and was eventually purchased in January of 1987 by Jeff and Julie Clark.

We previously reported a fire that damaged the restaurant in 2007.

Jeff and Julie thanked the thousands of customers and great friends they made over the years. They say they are looking forward to retirement and spending time with family and friends.
