ECHO Housing bands together with House of Bread and Peace

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - ECHO Housing and the House of Bread and Peace made a big announcement Friday afternoon.

Leadership teams with both nonprofits say they are joining forces to strengthen the work of The House and ensure it keeps on running for generations to come.

Officials tell 14 News they agreed to combine the agencies under the umbrella of ECHO Housing.

The House will continue their operations while being supported by ECHO Housing’s leadership and infrastructure.

“We are honored that the House of Bread and Peace is entrusting this critical service to our agency,” says ECHO Housing CEO Savannah Wood. “This occasion signifies a pivotal step forward in our commitment to serving our community and advancing our mission.”

Both nonprofits share the mission of serving the most vulnerable individuals and families in the Evansville community.
