EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Volunteers of Feed Evansville were back out this morning handing out free food boxes.
Organizers tell us the combo boxes contain enough dairy, meat, and produce to last a week.
One box is available for each family, and to get the box you have to wait in line.
They serve as many people in the line as they can until supplies run out.
“It means a lot, man. You know, it helps. We appreciate the help,” said resident Lorenzo Thomas.
Feed Evansville will be handing out combo Food boxes every Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hartke pool until October 26.
