EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Evansville's WEVV-TV will soon be under new ownership and the station is bringing back local news.
Texas-based Bayou City Broadcasting expects to have the deal finalized next month and WEVV's general manager Tim Black says the new owner wants to return local news to the programming.
WEVV is affiliated with both the CBS and Fox networks.
Black says the station hasn't had a local newscast since 2001.
