HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) - One man has been arrested after authorities say they found a meth lab during a burglary call.
The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office and the Madisonville Police Department originally responded to a burglary on Rose Creek Road.
There they say they found 36-year-old Donnie Durham and others near an open storage unit. They say Durham left the scene, but was later caught.
"When your dealing with meth labs in enclosed areas and they have other storage units out there, you need to take care of the situation as soon as possible because of the possible contamination of the other units," Sheriff Frank Latham said.
Durham is being charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
