Update 10:50 pm Tues: A tornado barely missed the Muhlenberg North High School during the boys game with Owensboro. (MAP of main damage area)

The gyms doors were ripped open, they say the sound resembled a train passing. There was damage to fence and a utility pole knocked over with downed power lines.

Update 10:30 pm Tues: Vectren's Mike Rader is reporting that there are less than 1,000 people without power.

Update 10:23 pm Tues: Shannon Samson is at the Muhlenberg North High School which received heavy damage. There are trees split in half, and a chunk of the scoreboard lying in the middle of a field.

There are also reports of damage to the Powderly trailer park in Muhlenberg County.

Update 10:20 pm Tues: Heavy rain is falling in Owensboro the spotter reported an inch of rain in 30 minutes.

Update 10:05 pm Tues: Stuart Peck is reporting from Powderly Kentucky where there is widespread damage. In one case a home was completely leveled.

Update 9:54 pm Tues: Kentucky State Police are reporting three fatalities at Nolan trailer park off Hwy 62 in Greenville Ky.

Update 9:50 pm Tues: There are reports of a foot of water in the road on Boonville New Harmony  between Hwy 65 and St. Joe.

Update 9:31 pm Tues: We have reports of flooding along Sycamore and Main St. in Evansville.

Update 9:26 pm Tues: Vectren is reporting 2,000 homes without power in the Keystone subdivision in Evansville and 50 homes around Evansville. Vectren expects to have power returned to these homes within the next 15 minutes.

Update 9:25 pm Tues: According to crews on the scene four people are unaccounted for at the Nolan Trailer Park.

Update 9:20 pm Tues: In Evansville there are reports of flooding on North Heidelbach Ave and Diamond Ave.

Update 8:59 pm Tues: Stuart Peck is reporting east bound traffic on the Western Ky Parkway almost to Central City is at a stand still. The traffic is stopped due to large debris in the roadway, there is also a semi-truck overturned.

Update 8:52 pm Tues: There are confirmed reports of three fatalities in Poke Co. Arkansas.

Update 8:48 pm Tues: There are reports of flooding on St Road 64. There are reports of power outages across the Tri-State.

Update 8:45 pm Tues: There is a flash flood reported in Poseyville.

Update 8:34 pm Tues: There are homes damaged and destroyed in New Palestine. There are reports of people trapped in some of these homes.

Update 8:30 pm Tues: Drew Speier is reporting from 181 S and Hwy 601 there are homes destroyed in the area is completely blocked off. There ais a woman trapped in her car, due to power lines over her car.

Update 8:22 pm Tues: Several homes have been destroyed in Powderly along Hwy 601 according to police. Search teams are on their way to this area.

Update 8:08 pm Tues: There are trees over Hwy 58 in Central City. There are reports of homes and a trailer park damaged in Greenville.

Update 8:03 pm Tues: The weather radios may not be working correctly, if you have to leave the TV to take cover, bring a regular radio with you.

Update 8:01 pm Tues: Muhlenberg South basketball game has lost power and everyone at the game is being held in the building until the storms pass.

Update 8:00 pm Tues: Trailer homes in the Greenville area may have been damaged.

Update 8:00 pm Tues: There is unconfirmed reports of 3/4 inch hail in Central City, Ky.

Update 7:51 pm Tues: In White Plains there are reports of power outages, tops of trees blown off, and a report of a porch destroyed.

Update 7:44 pm Tues: Pea sized hail reported in Edwards County.

Update 7:33 pm Tues: The Poseyville severe weather siren is out due to last Tuesday's storms.

Update 7:28 pm Tues: There are reports of 1/2 inch diameter hail in Posey County.

Update 7:16 pm Tues: Ron Smith the weather spotter in Olney, IL is reporting hail and strong winds. Ron says the telephones are not working in Olney.

Update 7:10 pm Tues: In Salem IL the power is out and trees are down. There is a possible accident on Hwy 57.

Update 7:05 pm Tues: The storms moving through Murray KY, had several tornadoes spotted with it, this storm is moving into Hopkins Co.
