It's a salute to our hometown heroes, now stationed in Iraq.

More than 200 local guardsmen and reservists are now serving in the war zone. It's the largest deployment since World War II.

The troops from the 163rd Field Artillery and the 406th Army Reserve have been gone for more than a year. They'll be home soon, but we don't know when.

In the video clip above, we have a sneak preview of our special report, "Hurry Home", which will air in its entirety Saturday night.

It's an exclusive look at everyday life in Iraq for these hometown heroes.

Steve Oglesby and Larry Rhodes made the trip to Iraq for 14 News, to bring back video and interviews you won't see anywhere else.

Be sure to join us Saturday night, for our half-hour special "Hurry Home": A rare look at everyday life in Iraq for our hometown troops.

"Hurry Home" airs at 7:00 on 14 WFIE.
