CLOUDS AND RAIN: Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are possible today, mainly from about 11 am until 5 pm. It will be another unseasonably cool day as temperatures will only make it into the upper 70's under mostly cloudy skies.
HURRICANE LANE: Sirens wailed while workers piled sandbags in front of hotels and police blared warnings to tourists to leave the world-famous Waikiki Beach as Hurricane Lane barreled north after dumping nearly 2 feet of rain on Hawaii's mostly rural Big Island.
FROG FOLLIES: The 44th annual Frog Follies is cruising into the Vanderburgh 4-H Fairgrounds this morning. Street rods are coming in from all over the country. Sydney Miller is live at Sunrise, checking out the popular event.
So, enjoy your Friday, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
