TRI-STATE (WFIE) - An apparent case of road rage led to a shooting in Owensboro and now police are looking for the suspect.

We've been reporting all week about how North Gibson Schools and the city of Princeton are struggling to find funds to pay for school resource officers.

One Kentucky School District is going to try taxation.

The Fayette County School board voted unanimously to add a $.5 cent property tax for every $100 dollars of property value. They'll use the money for more law enforcement, mental health professionals and metal detectors in every middle and high school.

Cops Connecting with Kids started five yeas ago in Evansville with a group of EPD officers. Now the Henderson Police Department is planning its own fundraiser.

Audubon Chrysler will host the "Back the Blue Ride Jeep Rally" on July 28 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Cops Connecting with Kids in Henderson.
