EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - About 50 new jobs could be coming to Evansville.
Officials with the Mayor's office tell us EnCom Polymers wants to spend about $10.7 million to expand their headquarters.
The City Council is expected to vote July 9 for final approval to offer a seven year tax phase-in package, as well as a hiring grant.
The grant would be $600 for every Evansville resident hired over the next two years.
EcCom is based on the northside and has been in business for nearly two decades.
Right now, they have about a dozen employees and contract to seven different places around the world.
This expansion would move all the work to Evansville
