Signature School named one of country's top high schools
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - US News and World Report has named Evansville's Signature School the 17th best high school in the nation.
Signature School was also ranked the ninth best charter school in the country, and the number one high school in Indiana.
Signature School is usually ranked high in the list, but this is the highest they've ever been.
The rankings are basked on the state assessments, advanced placement, international baccalaureate exams, graduation rates, diversity enrollment, and participation in free and reduced lunch programs.
"I couldn't be happier and more proud to see this recognition of the commitment and passion of all the members of our Signature School faculty, staff, and students," said Signature School Executive Director Jean Hitchcock.
