Man shows up at Evansville hospital with gunshot wound

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - A man showed up at St. Vincent Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
It happened around 7:45 Thursday night.
The man told police he was walking down the street and exchanged words with someone in a car driving by. That's when, according to a police report, someone in the car circled around the block, came back and started shooting at him.
He claims that's when one of the bullets hit him in the leg, but police say the victim was not very cooperative.
