Suspect charged with murder in Autumn Burkhart's death

HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) - One of the suspects arrested in the shooting death of Autumn Burkhart has been charged with murder.
Elijah Roberts was extradited back to Henderson on Thursday for a preliminary hearing, where he was formally charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was involved in a shootout with Joshua Bumphus on November 17 that led to the death of Autumn Burkhart.
Roberts was shot multiple times and was treated at St. Mary's before he was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
He was booked into the Henderson County Detention Center following the hearing.
