EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - We are four days into Evansville's first ever restaurant week and business is booming for some local restaurants in the area.
In total, 18 restaurants are participating in this event.
The purpose is to bring attention to local businesses in the area and get people dining out.
Tin Man Brewing company owner tells 14 News he's noticed a difference since the start of the week.
"Typically in September you will see a slump in the restaurants along Franklin street with kids going back to school, so restaurant week has picked things up a little bit where normally it would be a little slower," Tin Man Brewing Company owner Nick Davidson said.
Restaurant week is considered a celebration for local businesses and many restaurants are running specials and have a fixed menu for this occasion.
If you haven't been able to make it out yet, you still have time.
Restaurant week runs through Sunday.
