EPD: Attempted murder suspect in custody
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - An Evansville man wanted for attempted murder has been arrested.
Police responded to a shooting around 5 p.m. Thursday near Riverside Drive and Grand Avenue.
Officers found a victim in the parking lot of Zesto's with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim told police that Michael Merriweather was the one who shot him.

The 21-year-old Merriweather left the area before officers arrived on scene.
Merriweather was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail around 10 p.m. Friday with a bond of $10,000.
