POSEY CO., IN (WFIE) - The groundbreaking ceremony for the Midwest Fertilizer Plant in Posey County is expected to happen next month.
Commissioners say bonds will be sold by November 30, although they don't know who the buyers are yet.
The $2.5 billion project is supposed to create about 200 permanent jobs and 2,500 construction jobs.
We're told some potential workers are already moving into the area.
The goal is to have the plant fully operating by 2019.
