HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) - Wednesday marks the 20th anniversary of Heather Teague's disappearance.

Kentucky State Police say on August 26, 1995, a witness watched through a telescope across the Ohio River as a man dragged Teague off Newburgh Beach, at gunpoint, into the woods.

Since then, her mother, Sarah Teague, has been searching for any sign of her daughter.

Wednesday, Sarah held a small gathering in front of the old Hopkins County Courthouse to remember and honor her daughter.

Sarah says she'll continue to search for her daughter until she's found.

"One day is a lifetime when you don't know where somebody you love is and now we're, today marks the 20 year anniversary that we still don't have the answers," said Sarah Teague.

Teague tells 14NEWS she is now in contact with the FBI and hopes they'll be able to solve her daughters' disappearance.
