GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) - A vehicle fire caused a large traffic backup Tuesday morning in Gibson County.

It happened just before 11 a.m. on westbound I-64 near mile marker 28.

Indiana Department of Transportation officials say one of their vehicles was spraying for weeds when it caught fire.

We're told two people were inside the truck and made it out unharmed.

Traffic was backed up in the area for about an hour while crews put out the blaze and cleaned up the scene.
