PERRY CO., IN (WFIE) - After being open for just over a year, a Tell City restaurant is close to opening up a brewery.
The owner says the new beer will be available for people across the Tri-State.
Eight fermenters at the Pour Haus in Tell City are ready to go, but first the crew needs to decide what recipes they like.
"They taste pretty good," says Co-Owner Derek Cronin.
The brewery is starting to test their recipes, before they mass produce them.
Cronin hopes to brew test batches for people to drink at Schweizerfest.
He says it's been a long process, but the brewery is ready to start distributing throughout the Tri-State.
Cronin says that's been the goal all along.
"Maybe Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana," he told us. "We want to go an inch deep before we go a mile wide. We'll probably start off with some basic beers, definitely the blonde, then you have your IPA, Lager, Stouts. Probably, your basic craft beers."
At first, these beers will only be available at the Pour Haus.
