Santa helps soldier overseas propose to his girlfriend

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The Santa at Eastland Mall has been very busy this holiday.

In addition to listening to Christmas wishes, Santa just helped out with a very special surprise.

He delivered a marriage proposal to Kimberly Roberts from her boyfriend, Clint Underhill, who is stationed in Afghanistan.

After getting over the shock, Kimberly said, "Yes!"

Kimberly's family tells us they were all in on the surprise.

We're told Clint will be back from Afghanistan in June.
