House fire spreads to neighboring home in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Firefighters respond to a house fire but end up battling two blazes in Evansville.

This happened around 1:00 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of South Grand.

A witness told fire officials the fire began at house number 503 then spread to 501.

Investigators say the fires are under investigation because both homes were vacant and there's no power hooked up to either house.

There were no injuries.
