EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Two cars belonging to Evansville Kia, Mazda, and Volvo were damaged when a vendor's truck caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

According to Evansville firefighters, a vendor was working on some of the cars on the lot, when his compressor caught fire.

The vendor tried to grab a nearby gas can, but the heat was too much and caused him to throw the can into the air.

The gas can eventually helped spread the fire to two nearby cars. The man was not injured.

Two Kia cars, and the vendor's truck were destroyed in the fire.
