Man arrested during first day of Ira Beumer trial

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - A man was arrested Monday during the Ira Beumer murder trial.
27-year-old Marcus Hall was booked into the Vanderburgh County Detention Center after deputies say Hall was using his phone in the courtroom, going in and out several times, and was being disorderly.
There are strict rules in the trial to prevent juror distractions and the judge asked for him to be removed.
The trial continues on Tuesday with testimony from sheriff's deputies and accident recontructionists. The state could rest by Tuesday afternoon.
