Heat Break

Byron says we'll have mid 90s again today with a few isolated thunderstorms. But not as hot this weekend and early next week.  Temperatures will ease back into the upper 80s early next week with lows falling into the lower 70s.  There are storms possible however, we'll have the latest on Sunrise.

Rocky Mountain Wild

Residents are recovering from extreme weather conditions in Colorado this morning, as mother nature wreaks havoc with severe lightning strikes and a small snow shower.  New video on Sunrise.

Boston Backlash

A state police Sgt.. is in trouble for releasing arrest pictures of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzokhar Tsarnaev.  He said it he was angry with the controversial photo of Tsarnaev on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Blood Drive Challenge

It's the east side versus the west side in a blood drive challenge this weekend. With blood donations lower than expected, the Red Cross has issued an emergency need for donors. Nicole is live with the details.

Bluegrass and Football
