A group of athletes raising money for the Evansville Boys and Girls Club by shooting some hoops.

Wednesday afternoon, Yankees minor leaguer Preston Mattingly was on a fire department ladder truck to take a shot with a football.

The group called Trickwinkle raised $1,000 for the Boys and Girls Club through t-shirt sales and sponsorships.

They say this is just the beginning.

"We just took it to the next level. We just drove around for spots to film, and we got in contact with the fire department somehow and they love the idea, and here we are," said John Bonenberger with Flat Top Films.

The core athletic group is comprised of Preston Mattingly, who leaves Thursday for the New York Yankees training camp, Chris Owen, Kipp Schutz, Max Dedmond, Shawn Mooney and Matt Klees, also known as 'Bearwinkle.'

The rest of the group includes their technical advisor, Josh Chamberlain, videographer Amanda Hauschild and the Director and videographer John Bonenberger.

Flat Top Films has more videos, including former mayor Weinzapfel performing a trick shot in his office.
