Three arrested for drugs in Warrick Co.

BOONVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Deputies with the Warrick County Sheriff's Office and a Boonville City Officer working together on a joint investigation arrested three Warrick County residents on Tuesday night on drug charges.
The officers received information of illegal drug activity at 10221 Krista Lane apartment D16. Officers obtained a search warrant for the apartment and say they found numerous articles of paraphernalia along with marijuana and other illegal narcotics found inside the residence.
Stephan Talal Elkafrawi,18,was arrested and charged with dealing marijuana within 1000 feet of a public housing complex, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and maintaining a common nuisance. Elkafrawi was released from jail after posting a $500 cash bond.
Also arrested at the residence were Joseph Dumes, 24, of Warrick County. Dumes was preliminarily charged with possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance (Class A Misdemeanor). Dumes posted a $280 cash bond and was released from jail.
Regan Jones,18, of Newburgh was arrested and preliminarily charged with possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance and visiting a common nuisance. Jones posted a $305 cash bond and was released from jail.
