EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - After more than 50 years of serving the Tri-State, Roberts Stadium is set to close it's doors this year.

But officials with SMG want to make sure the good times at the stadium aren't forgotten.

Roberts has been Evansville's go-to place for sporting events and concerts.

SMG, the site's managing company wants you to look for ticket stubs, programs and even photographs from any event, concert, basketball game, or graduation held at Roberts Stadium.

The office is asking you to submit them via email.

This memorabilia, they say, will be bound into a book and displayed at the new downtown arena.

"There's lots of memories here that have to be preserved," SMG's Marketing Manager Kathy Embry said. "About 350,000 people in surrounding communities have enjoyed Roberts Stadium and they'll continue to enjoy the new arena as well."

If you'd like to share, email Kathy at

They'd like to have all your submissions by March.

Everyone who shares their memories will be credited.
