Max Parker

Max Parker joined the 14 News Team in the Summer of 2023 as Sports Director and Weeknight Anchor. Originally from Chicago, he is excited to be a part of the Tri-State, and grateful to be covering sports for such a passionate community.

Max graduated from Indiana University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media. While at IU, Max called football and basketball games on WIUX radio and served as the Voice of IU Softball for two years. During the summer of 2022, Max was a sports intern at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, where he found a passion for local news, covering anything from high school football to the Indy 500. In his final year at IU, Max also had the pleasure of being the in-arena Emcee for IU Women’s Basketball as well as the head of football coverage for the Hoosier Network. Upon graduation, Max had the honor of being named a Second Team All-American as a part of the STAA Jim Nantz Award competition.

When he’s not covering sports for work, Max enjoys cycling, Star Wars, calling his family, and of course, talking about the Chicago Bears with his best friend from home.
