Man sentenced in double murder trial

POSEY CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The man who pled guilty in his double murder trial in May has been sentenced.
As we’ve reported, authorities say Austin Kusturin shot and killed John and Elizabeth Hall inside their Mount Vernon home in November 2021.
Prosecutors say on day two of his trial, Kusturin pleaded guilty to all 11 charges.

Kusturin was sentenced to 170 years in prison, which was the maximum sentence.
