Victim taken to hospital after Friday night shooting on Sweetser and Linwood

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - One person was hospitalized Friday night after a shooting in Evansville, according to an EPD Sergeant.
Dispatch confirmed officers were called to shots fired at Sweetster Ave and Linwood Avenue around 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
We’re told the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Police say they are still looking for the suspect. No arrests have been made.
