Boil water advisory issued in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Ill. (WFIE) - Some community members in Fairfield are being asked to boil their water before using it.

According to the city’s social media page, the issue is in effect in the area of W. Douglas from S. 1st Street to SW 3rd Street.

Officials say a notice will be posted once samples have passed testing.
