Deputies: Witness to shoplifting cuts off suspect’s van, causes crash

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Emergency crews were called to a crash shortly before 9 a.m. Monday.
It happened at Highway 41 and I-69
Deputies say a van crashed into the guardrail, and driver had minor scrapes and abrasions.
They say they were told the driver was the suspect in a shoplifting that happened at a gas station on Highway 41 in Henderson.
Deputies say a witness to the shoplifting followed the suspect, cut him off, and caused the crash.
They say the witness was gone when they arrived.
Deputies say the driver/shoplifting suspect also had a suspended license.
