EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Mount Vernon officials say they lifted their city-wide boil advisory Thursday.

They went on the order after water crews had a problem with the chlorine injection system.

The issue caused them to be unable to add an adequate amount of chlorine to the drinking water.

The problem has since been fixed and the city is no longer on the boil order.
