INDIANAPOLIS (WFIE) - The Indianapolis Colts unveiled its schedule for the upcoming NFL season on Thursday.

The Colts open the first two weeks of the regular season with a pair of divisional road games against the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, before playing host to the Kansas City Chiefs in the home opener on Sept. 25.

Indianapolis is slated to play eight home games this season at Lucas Oil Stadium, including two different primetime matchups on Monday Night Football with the Pittsburgh Steelers (Nov. 28) and the Los Angeles Chargers (Dec. 26).

This year’s schedule is expected to consist of four primetime games in total as the Colts will also square off with the Denver Broncos (Oct. 6) and Dallas Cowboys (Dec. 4) on the road.

Following a busy offseason of moves by the Colts’ front office, the franchise hopes to turn over a new leaf with starting quarterback Matt Ryan at the helm.

The Colts are seeking to win the AFC South for the first time since 2014.

This is the second year that every team will play 17 regular-season games after the NFL voted to expand the schedule prior to last season.
