Multiple agencies respond to fire in Sebree

SEBREE, Ky. (WFIE) - Four different local agencies were sent in response to a fire in Webster County on Thursday evening, Henderson County Dispatch confirmed.

Several 14 News viewers on Facebook and on the scene shared videos of the fire that broke out at Bluegrass Fence Manufacturing in Sebree.

Dispatch told 14 News the agencies dispatched to the fire were the Niagara Volunteer Fire Department, Robards Community Fire Department, Hebbardsville Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Smith Mills Fire Department.

Sebree Fire Department Lieutenant Rob Hensley said on the scene that it took about two hours to get the fire under control.

He said at least two buildings were fully involved and had suffered “extensive” damage.

Hensley said that workers were still there when the fire broke out, but they had all managed to evacuate with no injuries.

He said when the fire was out and they had done their building assessments, they would begin investigating how the fire started.
